Contribution to the group exhibition Expedition No 2: The North that took place in Aarhus, Denmark in 2014. The second expedition led the explorer to The North. A frosty world and the homeland of knitting herdsmen and their herds of huge antlered sheep. Plant life grows very, very slowly in The North, this makes most plants small and rock hard. There are different species of birch there and several complex funghi. Some of the funghi can easily be mistaken for stone ans some are a source of pigment that is used to dye knitting wool.
